Port Road

The concept of boulevards, as part of the regeneration strategy for Letterkenny Town Centre, will transform the urban environment into a more desirable place to walk and cycle.

Re-imagining Port Road and shifting the focus from vehicles to people will help invigorate this important arrival into the town centre. Humanising the route will allow people to move easily, east to west, between the town centre and surrounding areas, including the Atlantic Technological University campus.
